City of Sun Valley Tax Permit
A City of Sun Valley temporary tax permit is required for participation
in the Festival. You must show it at check in to set up your booth. If
you forget it in your car, your home, wherever, we cannot allow you
to check in.

Tax Information for KAF Artists
Artists are required to collect 8% tax on each purchase. You
will owe 6% of income from purchases to the State of Idaho and
2% to the City of Sun Valley.

If you have a permit, you have given us a copy of your State of Idaho
Tax Permit--either for a former Festival (We have records of it.) or for
this Festival, if you are a new exhibitor.
If you do not have a permit, a temporary tax permit form will be
available at check in.

The City of Sun Valley tax collectors will be on site at check
out. You must pay your Sun Valley tax before leaving.
(The City of Sun Valley has asked us to reject applications for future Festivals from
artists who do not pay their taxes on Sunday at breakdown. We will do this because
we want to keep using Festival Meadow.)
